# Name Bidding

Each user in the HUDL ecosystem has an opportunity to secue a unique name for their HUDL pass. Initial name bidding will start as follows:

* 0.001 ETH for 7 character names
* 0.01 ETH for 6 character names
* 0.02 ETH for 5 character names
* 0.05 ETH for 4 character names
* 0.1 ETH for 3 character names

After the initial name sale, a marketplace contract will enable users to bid on each other's names. a 5% trade fee will apply, generating additional protocol revenue.
